Hello I believe my gecko is sick and the man at the pet store has suggested that it may be a parasite, has anyone else had to take their gecko to the vet for a parasite? And how much did it cost??

$65. just for the gecko to been seen. what are the symptoms? but if ever in doubt of your pet a vet is always the best choice

At westman reptile gardens. He would have much more experience with this kind of pet than a traditional vet.

I emailed him last night just waiting for a response, as for the gecko he's walking low and kind of slow, kind of walking on his front legs, he's shedding again even though he just did less than a month ago not eating much very skinny suddenly

is your heat set right ? and you could try giving a warm bath see if compacted. till you get your gecko looked at, westman reptiles is ok to go to but he doesn't carry the stuff to rid of parasites and best call see if Dave there and go. sorry to ask but as you sure he a he . females do an ovulation around this time where they wont eat. on Facebook there is a Canada Gecko site could help to.

I just "rescued" a bearded dragon from reptile gardens, took him to the vet and he is loaded with coccidia and pin worms...so I would ask a vet.
I took him to grand Valley too see their reptile specialist Jennifer and she was great.

Do you often rescue reptiles? As I am a student and I am afraid I will not be able to afford vet bills, we called grand Valley she's on holidays right now

I am in no position to but maybe someone with experience could adopt it if she is willing. Seems like she is trying to do the right thing but just can't at this time. Can someone help???

This is my first time owning a reptile. I saw the condition he was in and went into momma rescue mode.
He is now are new baby boy getting healthier and stronger every day.
What I did was just bring a poop sample into the vet and they called me later with his results. Maybe you could do that?
It was around $60

Have u tried a warm bath? Does he get calcium supplement?
Is he eating?
