I am looking for other people in Westman that have Saltwater Aquariums that have an interest in sharing what they know where they purchase there livestock and drygoods and willing to sell or trade coral frags. Please reply to this post or feel free to text me at 204-596-0030.

There's a Facebook page called saltwater junkies of Manitoba, most of the members are out of Winnipeg but there's a few from westman. They'll all be super helpful to answer any questions, trade, buy, and sell.

I also have a saltwater aquarium, have been doing it for several years. Currently running a 75 gallon reef. All of my live stuff comes form Winnipeg, for dry goods there are a couple of online places I use regularly. There are a few people on ebrandon (myself included) who sell frags and so on occasionally.  
 
Stores in Winnpeg I use are: Into the Blue (I think at least one of the guys running it is a marine biologist or something) and The Fish Gallery )often a good selection frags). The Bird shop and Aquariums just up the road from the Fish Gallery has some saltwater stuff too.  
 
In Brandon there are a couple of places that have stuff where it overlaps with freshwater, and Best West have some saltwater stuff (including livestock occasionally).  
 
If you want information try the canreef forum (relatively friendly and informative) and reef central (very informative if a little more opinionated/red in tooth and claw in some cases..).

Well its good to hear that there is a hand full of us here in Westman. I have a 110 gallon reef tank that I have had running for 4 years here in Brandon and 8 years before that on the West Coast. If anyone is interested J&L Aquatics in Vancouver has the best prices on dry goods that I have found so far and the shipping is very reasonable. And you only have to pay one tax. If you factor in the time and cost to go to Winnipeg it's a lot cheaper.
