Our cat has a sore between her back legs on her underbelly. The fur around it and down the inside her back leg is gone. Would that be from licking or something else? Wondering if anyone has something similar with their cat?

We plan to take her to the vet Monday. She seems otherwise in good health and it is not an open sore. Just something I noticed today.

I'm trying to solve a similar issue with my furbaby. Unfortunately you really need to wait to see the vet. When I initially took my furbaby in the vet was very honest and said it's a very difficult problem to deal with because there's a lot of different things that can cause it. We've been trying different things to rule different possibilities out with my furbaby since the summer. Good luck!

Have you tried changing her food? I had mine on whiskas and they were peeing in various places thru out the house and my female was pulling her fur out. I've changed the food to President''s Choice can and dry food and they have calmed down and have stopped this behavior. They actually play now as before they didn't. My female hated being touched before and now she is much more affectionate.

My 13yr old girl suffers from this from time to time....she is a med length domestic and last time I gave her a bath it seemed to help and the hair grew back, she gets a lil dirty due to hair length and not being able to clean her back end due to age. We have 2 males as well and they stress her our to which she will sometimes over groom and get a sore.

DEFINITELY a great idea to see your vet! This behaviour is often indicative of an underlying problem!
