To some dog owners: Is your reason laziness or joint problems that you leave your dog poop bags in the trails of Brandon Hills? I find this disgusting to see bags here and there or hanging on branches as if it's an ornament. Just let your dog poop on the ground instead of bag it and leave there. Bags are not going to deteriorate that quick.  
I find it great to have volunteer people to make the trails groomed and packed for us to be easier to walk, run, skying or bike. If you do not want to participate your time in volunteer maintenance there at least you could show appreciation to them by pick up your dog poop bags.  
Totally ungrateful behavior you have to leave your mess in other's properties I am sure you do not let your backyard with dog poop bags.

This is a common occurrence all around Brandon. Our walking route is littered with dog crap, if you are taking your dog our, bring a bag and pick up after it. The Discovery Centre paths are really bad, this is a lovely gem in the middle of our city, with garbage cans and poop bag dispensers, there is no reason for there to be dog poop on the path. These owners are lazy and inconsiderate.

What I can't figure out is why take the time and effort to bag it just to leave it on the ground?

This is a very common issue this time of year as the snow starts to melts, poop become visible and a lot of it. People must think that the dog poop vanishes as soon as it hits the snow or something. Lol

but I didn't just graduate from daycare last year I was referring to dog poop bags left on the ground or thrown on branches.

That's weird about bagging it and then just leaving it lying around, especially as bagging it is the "hard" part! Does the Brandon Hills have garbage receptacles? The only thing I can think of is, if there are no garbage cans, maybe people are super lazy and decide to just chuck the bags rather than wait to find a garbage? Definitely odd and grossly inconsiderate.

I'm always at the dog parks voluntarily picking up the dog crap. Last year I collected 4 large hefty bags. I enjoy the dog parks the City has to offer (but it isn't the City's job to pick up after our pets). If anyone sees me out there picking up the dog crap and wants to voluntarily help-it would be greatly appreciated!

You should be a cross country skier when all of this dog poo starts to thaw out in the spring.

When it comes to the Brandon Hills, there are many users that show little to no common sense when they use the Brandon Hill trails. One has to look no further than the walkers that crush the cross country ski trails beyond recognition making them at best dangerous to ski, or not worth skiing at all.
