I have taken my dog there for years!  
I have had nothing but good luck. I didn't care for one of the male vets, unsure his name, he was. Good just felt that he tired to up sell stuff I didn't need but I guess lots do that .... I second Dr. Vicky Sampers (think that's the spelling of the last name). She's great!!! When he was a puppy you take them so often I found their prices in line with a few others I called - the front desk girls are great and they even gave my dog a free puppy gift - some toys a free bag of dog food and a bunch of coupons!

They have looked after our babies since they were puppies. If we had to list all the good things about this clinic, the vets, the front end staff, and the techs, we would add way too many pages to this discussion.

The clinic your refering to is not the clinic I suggested. There are 2 clinics there. Perhaps you should do your research.

Is for livestock. They do not do small animal medicine. There is really only one choice for a dog....

There are many vet clinics to choose from and each person has their own personal preference, I've learned from personal experience that puppy shots are important, but after that it's up to the individual whether shots are given every year. Also if your puppy is a small breed get the shots divided up as these shot doses can be too much for them, if given all at once. I personally had 2 lasa apsos that one got a twisted stomach, other got diabetes. Also a 18 month old mini schnauzer passed away, was told by the vet was in perfect health. Every time we took her to the vet they talked us into a different shot. Think it's just a money racket, and we as pet owners get caught up in this as we trust and believe what they tell us is true! Well after loosing 3 pets , I've learnt a big lesson! Each to their own.

You get delivered to the office with your pet by an assistant, no issues so far.  
 
Next, instead of the vet arriving, a sales professional enters and the pressure begins. This second persons only job is to run up a list of shots required. Don’t believe me, say no to any of the optional shots and prepare for the horror stories.  
 
Finally, the smiling vet comes in and does a complete check and then the shots.  
 
Presto, Your bill is ready for you.  
 
Imagine if the Brandon Clinic ran its medical system that way.  
 
Sadly, over vaccination for things like Lime disease can cause the animal to start getting mild symptoms of the disease!

Asking to see your vet specifically is a must for the reason you indicated. We've had caring, understanding & consistent vetting by Sempers.  
I have to laugh because in all the years & pets we've taken there, not once were we given free toys or free dog food. The only thing we get consistently is mixed/moody/the odd smile customer service going in and going out. Next pet we'll be looking for a new clinic.
