Just wondering about this my cat has a call that sounds like she is saying hello question do they use that hello just for humans or do they also use it among other cats ?

I think I was expecting a thread of a whole different variety lol.  
 
Though to answer your question, yes. A few pets have made noises that i could hear human words from. Neat to hear, isnt it?

Yeah, I was expecting a much different thread as well! I had to click out of curiousity because that other type of catcalling isn't something I've seen or heard of in Brandon!  
 
Anyways, as for the original post, my understanding is that cats don't normally vocalize with meows unless they're raised with humans. The meowing that we're used to is literally an attempt to communicate with us, to mimic the noises we make to them, so it could easily be that your cat is trying to say hello to you!

I looked up other cats saying hello it is really cute to hear.

I don't know its what I want to hear but I could swear among hello, my girls will call mom and dad. They even have a special "grandma" call for when my mom is over. Than again we have trained each other to know what they want with certain calls/actions much like a young child. It's super cute
