That is animal cruelty and the boys need to be made aware that it is not acceptable. I would have been doing more than knock on the window-they would have got TOLD-and i fight back better than the turkeys would if the punks decided to go for me. Bad upbringing on these kids. " |

I hope these boys are caught but come on everyone, we all know these boys won't be charged or anything because they are under age. The only thing they will get is a stiff talking to and a pat on their butts and told to think before they do something like this again. They should be forced to help take care of that turkey (if it has not been put down)or some kind of community help. Do they do that with kids anymore? Community service? " |

The OP says they looked like they were 14-16 years old. That's old enough to be charged under the YOA at least. Will there be sufficiently serious consequences, who knows?
I always just kinda hope that merely getting charged would be a wake-up call for these kids and their parents. Sadly, it's often not. I know if I did something that merited getting charged under the YOA growing up, I'd probably still be grounded!!
