I was doing some shopping in Superstore today with my sister-in-law and one-year-old. Towards the end my sis noticed my daughter had lost her bootie.  
 
Let me explain:this was no ordinary bootie. It was not only hand-knit, it had been worn by all three of my children and was made by my godmother. So losing it would have been devastating.  
 
After I searched every inch of the floor I conceded, sadly , it was lost. Then a lady came up to me and pointed out where it was hung up. I thanked her profusely and ran to retrieve it. She wandered away and I wish I could've repaid her.  
 
Merry Christmas, my angel! I will find a way to pay it forward!

Love posts like this at any time of the year, sometimes we focus way too much on what is wrong, and not enough on the things that are right.

Those of us, who, simply, genuinely help, do not want any sort of "repaid".  
 
Pay it forward, yes, always.  
 
I had a clerk in Superstore in Winnipeg assist me, when I had no clue what I was doing. Her, helping me, allowed me to make a young family, who have nothing, have a Christmas full of food.  
 
I thought about it, hunted down the "contact us", wrote to corporate with, what is genuinely, a heart warming story.  
 
I received an email that said, pretty much all layers of management were made aware of this. They take employee congrats very seriously. Roberta will be pleasantly surprised.
