    car accident at 1st and richmond

    there seems to be a car accident at 1st and richmond this morning...I was going home from work at 8am this morning and there were a lot of ambulances and police cars there...any info on this accident?

    Drove by before emergency vehicles arrived. Every day I watch someone run the red lights at that intersection. I assume the same thing happened this morning.

    In my opinion, that intersection should have an advance arrow at it. It’s a busy spot for morning commute to work and for school buses, same with after school/ work.

    I drive it every morning. Trying to turn east onto Richmond is a nightmare. Traffic heading north is like a funeral procession and anyone trying to turn has to hit the gas to find a foot of an opening. Turning land to head east backs up past Tastees a lot

    To use Park Ave East if the 1st st corner is so bad? Or Victoria and Douglas? Just a thought. MIT won't do anything with the lights, that would require some effort on their part.
