Okay, I need to rant a bit and get this off my chest...  
Why is it that literally EVERYTIME I am at an intersection waiting for a pedestrian to cross so I can turn left, there is someone behind me laying on the horn pressuring me to finish my left turn? Why aren’t people aware of their surroundings??? Can’t you see that there is a pedestrian crossing the street??  
 
Anyone else have this consistently happen to them? Maybe I just have bad luck haha!

There will always be people like that. Just ignore them. I had someone tailgate me just the other day when we had that snowfall and it was very slippery out.

I guess I shouldn't view some of the driving nonsense in Brandon but it does really make a person wonder.  
Yesterday afternoon the traffic on 18th was backed up Louise in the left lane, a vehicle comes from the west on Louise, tries to pull into the left lane but the traffic was not moving so the person lays on the horn, and not just once but many times.  
If you were upset about being halfway through an intersection, and not being able to move, why did you put yourself in that position, and why did you not just take the right lane.  
It does make you wonder if people do look around or forward when driving, I think it falls under the idea of reading the traffic, which has to do with common sense.

People I see do NOT signal...this time of year the signal lights are coated with mud...signal lights do not work, how many times do you pass people head on and see one or more of their lights not working?? More than I can remember. The way the sun shines on the signal lights...Maybe your vehicle is too big people do not see what is in front of you.. I've literally seen people stopped and texting while at intersections and failing to see the light has changed to green...brats in the backseat distracting the person driving and the list goes on and on and on.

I seem to have the same route to work as a fed ex driver. All four turns and he’s never used his signals. I’m thinking his van doesn’t have them.

From the title, I thought the OP was meaning

walking west across 1ststreet and mactavish ave I almost been hit 3different time people turning left off mactavish onto 1st street and I have the walking sign same goes for Richmond and 1st street intersection people turning right on red and I still have a walking sign I have the right away I sure don't feel safe anymore walking in this city like seiriously drivers grow up and leave the road rage at home use some common sense. I hardly see any police on 1st street anymore either since the police station moved to Victoria ave and 10th street

When I am a pedestrian I make damn sure the traffic is aware of me and I don't step off the curb until it is safe to walk. As a pedestrian I feel I have a bigger stake in the outcome of any collision that may happen, so I make sure there is doubt about my safety.

Because everyone's to busy looking at there social media, to see who made chicken instead of pork for dinner. Get your heads out your asses and look see the world around you it's beautiful. Smell the air look at the birds oh yea and maybe look to see that pedestrian crossing the road! Good day

aren't vehicles supposed to wait to turn on to a street after the pedestrian has crossed not halfway across middle of road and a car goes turning by you catching you off guard feels like I have to run across intersection to get across 1st street safely at 1st mactavish before walking sign turns

So many people cut through the Robin's donuts parking lot on the way to the bank and cross the alley without even looking. Tunnel vision.
