the owner of the court had no issues with it what so ever. The city also had no issues and I had a business license to operate and it wasn't a "home based business" either.

Its usually something stipulated in lot or apartment lease agreements in the event someone's causing a disturbance with their business, meant for legal recourse in that scenario. Not really (that I've ever heard of) meant against people simply having their home address listed as their business (a business on paper) when the business is conducted elsewhere, such as self-employed tradespeople for example
