Yes, there was a fire yesterday and I believe we all know that.

A fire, in a contained spaced, watched closely by adults to sit and relax by or roast a hot dog is quite a bit different than the one we had yesterday.

I did not read the fire band link - so I do not know if there is or is not a fire ban on...but your dramatics and wording could have been a little more positive instead of coming across as treating people like idiots.

They certainly are not going to pay attention to a post like yours.

Go to the city website. City parks, no fires, back yard WITH a fire permit is still good.

If they want to have a fire, have a fire, was yesterday a disaster? Yes, it was. Do we need to stop living, because of it? No. So if there is no ban in place go have a fire with the family and relax, nice day and a good long weekend.

Except there is a ban at the public parks in Brandon according to the city of Brandon fb page and website (posted on a Wednesday at 2:15pm)! No fires at the parks but you are allowed to have one in an approved backyard fire pit that has a permit!
