I have noticed that the green space in the south east corner of the keystone grounds has been blocked off lately. There has been a security vehicle parked there frequently just watching it. Just curious really, but this was a nice picnic and dog walking area so I’m hoping they don’t close it to public.

Don't think it's closed for good. I know for sure with Summer Fair right around the corner it's probably helpful in getting stuff set up.

Also know there was a problem there with some local ne'er-do-wells dealing/doing, so think that was catalyst?

They also had a security guard posted in the parking lot for what seemed like a week because of some drag racing.

Noticed this too when we had the dog out for a walk on the grounds a few days ago. Had no issues.

After seeing this thread I followed up with the Keystone and it sounds like theres been an issue with drag racing on the grounds. Folks are still welcome for picnics and the like!

up with the "touch a truck" there are a lot of heavy equipment out there today where kids can get to climb on or in them.

I don't know why, but I know within the last few years lots of people like to hang out in the Keystone ground in their vehicles, quite often late at night. I know that's made some people suspicious and thinking these people are up to no good, so that could also be a reason why the areas closed.
