When I went to school my objective was to absorb enough so that I could get 51%, after leaving school was when I decided that maybe a wee bit more knowledge, in many areas was needed. As I look back, I sometimes wish I hadn't spent time on history. History does repeat itself, just a different time and a different place.  
President Trump seems to have a limited, or maybe a "I don't care" attitude, about history.  
I do get things wrong at times, and hopefully this is one of those times, the the policiest he is following represent the worst of government policies at different times by different governments.  
The quoting of scripture to justify actions was something that flipped me right out, the use of scripture has been used at times to justify the most outraged acts against people, even within their own country.

There was a lady the other day bad mouthing the u.s this is how much she knows. The company her husband works at for years he is high up. 90% of there products are sold to the Americans not Canadians and she hates the USA well if it wasn’t for the Americans ur husband would not have a job so before you boycott the u.s think about what you have because I bet it has some relation with the u.s! A lot of the stuff I read on here is just as dumb as the pipeline protesters that don’t want a pipeline but go to the protest in a big bus or turn there gas furnace on. I still shop in the states going today in fact

if usa offer cheap vacations package to go to I would not be surprised that the 'nope' people would probably be the first to book a flight to visit the usa again.  
People are people and people move and react to money so much is just about money and not so much about morale even when voicing for morale. You talk about morale good morale and you will not get votes on your plate you talk about money in your pocket you will get a lot of votes.

Trump is accusing Canadians of smuggling goods back to Canada. Like shoes, skuff them up and wear then when crossing the border.
