I've been trying to find inexpensive boxes of salt to do some canning.  
Anyone spy any boxes of (caking agent free/no iodine) pickling/kosher/sea salt for cheap? $6-$7 a box at Superstore is a bit rich for me!!

They clam that pool salt is the same as table salt.  
Can buy a 50lb bag for about $10

Not sure about that, but Bulk Barn might be a good bet for bulk food safe salt.

Any Kosher or pickling salt will do. It just needs to be additive free. If you only need a little, Bulk Barn is perfect.  
 
Canadian Tire sells 2 lb bags of pickling salt for $3.99. Anywhere that sells canning supplies should have salt for around that price in the canning supplies.  
 
Don't be too put off the price. I've been using the same bag of salt for about 4-5 years, and I do a lot of canning, LOL.
