    Does anyone know if there is somewhere in Brandon that will test well water for it's safety?

    Call your Municipal office. But more to the point - I believe the testing is done in Winnipeg.

    But, I believe that Manitoba Agriculture has the water test kits at their Go Offices. You just pick one up and it comes with the sampling, handling, and shipping instructions.  
    Also I believe the Province has a contract with ALS Labs in Winnipeg to conduct the actual testing.

    Find your nearest ag office and ask for well testing, they will ask what you want tested: water hardness only or a full breakdown of the water. I think it costs around $50
