Same thing over and over - break ins etc. Where does all this stuff get transformed into money to buy drugs. There must be one hellofa flea market going some where

SO im guessing you didn''t lock your vehicle? or did they break in?

Was your car doors even locked?

if cars are locked or not. If they see something inside they want they will just bust the window anyway. Remove all valuables from the car.

People say their vehicle was broken into and their wallet was stolen, we have seen that a number of times here on different threads. But their phones are never stolen?  
 
People seem to remember to take better care of their phones or cannot live without them than their wallet.  
 
I would think I would rather have my phone stolen then have to replace everything in my wallet and cancel credit cards. But then, I leave nothing in my car.

Yes it is the first thing every body wants - to get pics of there vehicle being broke into . What that will get you is some individuals with there faces covered and certainly they wont be wearing name tags. One of the individuals attempting to break into my shed actually did pull back his hoodie and I have a good pic of his bald head. That pic has been on crime stoppers for 6 months now and no body has responded. Cheap camera could have done this just as well as me spending close to 9 thousand for my camera set up. What we do need is some changes to our laws here in canada . We need to be able to defend our property without getting in more hot water than the guy that is stealing from me .

Wasn't locked. Nothing stolen. Not that there was anything super valuable, but was stuff that could have be sold quick for some cash. They just pulled all stuff out of glove box and console. Left change in cup holder.  
Clearly looking for something very specific.

East Ender here too. Always happens. They toss the glove box and seem to leave the change and other valuables.  
 
I don’t lock my doors most days. All they do is toss the glove box. Plus I’ve been a troubled teen before. A locked door never stopped me. I’d rather keep the big valuables in the house and the car doors unlocked. This prevents any damage to my car and oh well if my parking change gets taken.

You can leave your phone on park bench and no thief will steal it because they know they can't do anything with it. I've left my phone in the truck while these street urchins have tossed my truck...they're looking for change, cash, a Visa card you keep in the sun visor...they never steal my Oakleys anything that would take effort to fence.

We're in the Meadows area and generally always lock our vehicle doors. On the very few times that we forgot, we have always had them rummaged through. We keep nothing of value in our vehicles, so nothing was ever taken, but it is frustrating, nonetheless. I know of another Brandon resident that got so sick of having locked vehicles broken into, causing damage, they just leave them unlocked now and keep nothing in it. No one is safe from those who feel they are welcome to take what isn't theirs.

most people are glued to their phones and would never forget to take them out of the car.

The night of 28 aug some one broke into a bunch of cars on stickney ave, all that was stolen from my vehicle of importance was my military medals. If anyone hears of someone selling medals or finds them near stickney please post here so I can get them back. There is 3 of them a campaign star from Afghanistan, a nato ssm, and a diamond jubilee.

Was broken into on 7th as well. Guess people have nothing better to do these days. What a shame.

I've lived in the area for over 8 years and haven't had my car broken into. I always lock my door and on the occasion that I have accidentally left a window down nothing has happened. I just consider myself lucky. But I don't think any area in town is safe from car break-ins
