    Hey everyone,  
    I live on the east end of Richmond Ave/Green Acres area. There were 2 racoons in my neighbour's yard last evening. He and his wife both saw them so they are real...not cats like originally thought. Please keep an eye on your dogs and kids. Who knows what has driven these animals into the city. Animal control aware.

    Raccoons only travel for food.  
     
    They have found some delicious garbage in your area.  
     
    Might be time for some trapping

    We had at least one in our yard a few months ago. Seen one running along our fence. We have ponds with running water so we thought maybe that attracted them but I wonder if the city compost bins we use are the real draw?

    I have seen raccoons and skunks etc all summer long in that area. Usually any night i take my dog for a drive to look for deer and rabbits... No i dont let her chase anything i just want her to see other animals and use her scent tracking in a diffrent way. We have also seen foxes as well
