So with the road construction finally done on the stretch of 26 from park to the tracks, one has to ask themselves, wth kinda job is that ? There is spots it’s not even at all, and heading south, just before the tracks in the left lane, is such a lip of pavement it damn near felt like it was taking my wheel off! Who would sign off on such a horrible job?

Don’t think it’s done I think winter beat them.

From what I understand their done for this year, but will be back in the spring to finish it.

Tracks on 34th street are the same, A mess..  
Everyone knew freeze up was coming yet there was lots of nice weekends that there could have been road work done....not just Monday to Friday..

In touch with the mayors office, or City manager. Probably would have been a good idea on their part to put something even on their website to address the late start and incomplete roadways

Have it useable for the winter time I drive it everyday and have no problem with it. Better than being a single lane all winter.

At least Alternative Landscaping shoveled the snow off the frozen median to lay sod. I'm sure a good season of salt and plow tracks will get the grass off to a good start.

it's done for winter. There are a lot more factors that go into what projects start when and when they can and can't work. There are speculations in the contract that are put in place from the City etc that allow them to only work certain days, hours etc so that it will work best with the public.  
If only one job or two jobs were ongoing at a time there would be no way to get stuff done or even started. Not feasible in our climate.  
So those weekends that crews could have been working and were "lazy", maybe they weren't allowed to work that day so that it disrupted the traffic less.
