The train will be arriving today. It's scheduled to arrive at 6:45pm. But that time all depends on other train traffic.

Looks like it just left Portage for it's next stop in Carberry.

The website still shows it's in Carberry. Is this correct? Does anyone know if it's on the move again?  
 
It looks like it was running at least an hour late earlier today.

Thanks for the link. Would like to avoid the situation of a couple years ago, standing around waiting for so long before it comes. I see it still shows Carberry on the map. Have they been plotting real time location along the route or do we assume it’s between Carberry and Brandon now?

It's moving now, about half way to camp Hughes. Site said it was supposed to leave at 6 so old say it's at least 20-30 minutes behond.

We went to see it in Plap, was supposed to arrive at 3:15 for a 3:30-4 show, but it didn't arrive till 3:45 and I think it was 4:45 when it left Plap. Pretty sad for being the first stop of the day after the train overnighted in Wpg last night. I missed the entertainment, but did see it leaving which looked good once it was darker and you could see more of the lights on the cars.

Absolutely!! I was just about to say that. Ask any railroader (or railroader’s wife, LOL), trains are very seldom on time. I find that unless you’ve lived the railroad life you don’t truly understand.

has to yield on sidings for other freight trains, that's what causes most of the delays.  
 
If anyone is looking for the train overnight, it's parked in the yard east of 1st.

Wow!!!! That was super crazy busy and not at all like it was 2 years ago (but I think many left early that year cuz they got tired of waiting haha) for the most part people were great and polite but some people are so entitled and NEED to have the best spot. Asking you to move....yes where would you like me to go? Half a cm to the right or to the left LOL.  
 
It was a great show put on and I’m proud of the community for raising food and funds for the food bank. Great job everyone!! Merry Christmas!!  
 
I don’t know how feasible or logical this suggestion will be but because parking and traffic is always an issue....what about for those who wanted to park at keystone centre and have shuttles/buses take people over and then back when it’s done? Do you think that would help alleviate some problems or is it just something to expect and deal with?

My only comment is I wish people could actually buy tickets to ride on it: ticket sales could also support the food bank.
