Looking for some ideas for getting a spa, make-up do-over, shopping outting for a friend and myself. We are from out of town, so only a day trip in the planning.  
Just a break from the everyday, any fun suggestions appreciated! (PS...we are old ..lol)

Not quite what you had listed, but have you ever been to Fun Time Pottery? Kind of a neat thing to do. You can check them out on Facebook, they have a monthly calendar of events. They do also host kid's birthday parties, so you might want to check to ensure that won't be going on the day you plan to go.

Book a pedicure for you and your friend, lots of places can book you together, I use Euphoria Salon. If it's during a week day you can also book in at the Beauty school H&CO Academy 2 locations 10th st and on princess, they do nails, make up, face and body treatments, and hair all at reasonable prices. I also like the previous comment about Fun time pottery, it's somewhere I like to go to relax and create. Do you enjoy movies? Shopping at the mall? Lunch at Lady of the lake? Man if I didn't have to work, possibilities would be endless...

travel to Winnipeg and go to Thermea
