I have some family looking to move into Brandon and just wondering where they could look to find a 4 or 5 bedroom apartment or house?? Yes they’ve looked in classifieds here. Not much in that department and they are on a tight budget too. Any recommendations would be great thanks

A 5 bedroom rental on a tight budget??! Likely not going to happen in Brandon. A decent 2 bedroom is going to be around a grand. Might want to expand your search outside of town, Rapid City, Wawanesa etc. Even then a 4 or 5 bedroom on a tight budget is not likely to be found easy. There will be nothing in Brandon of that size that is remotely affordable. But there is bunch in Winnipeg that are 4+ and reasonable. Plus job opportunities will be better there.  
 
Yes, Brandon is way higher to pay rent in than in Winnipeg.  
Just surf kijiji or craigslist on housing to see. Can also browse the Sun classifieds. Don't know if Winnipeg has it's own version of ebrandon or not.
