Guy needs a Pedicure. Please Help

Long story short. I have bad callouses on my feet and my doctor suggested a pedicure to try treat them because I stand most of the day and they are really starting to bug me.

Now the thing is... I’m a single guy and don’t know the first thing about this, where is a good place to go, open evenings or weekends and isn’t too expensive.

If your callouses are large, you might have better results from a Certified Foot Care Nurse than a pedicure. Or a podiatrist can also treat callouses.

as Curlysister said, you would be better off with a specialist (at least for this for go around) to make sure there is nothing else wrong with your feet. Often employee health insurance will pay for a podiatrist. Dr. Tracy Andrews is an excellent podiatrist.

If your doctor has suggested getting a pedicure then you will probably feel great to be pampered.

There are also quick and cheap alternatives to do at home with foot soaks and a lotion you apply nightly. Just do a quick search, you could do this after your pedicure I’m sure you’ll love it! Gel inserts for your shoes would probably help also.

I too, would suggest Dr Andrews as a first step - she may be able to guide you better. Your callouses might be more than just thick skin.

I would skip Walmart - while they are great for nails - their pedicures are absolutely useless. My hubby and I used to go to Nancy's Nails for pedicures as they did a very good job and actually removed a decent amount of over growth.

Just when booking say it for you (man) .
The Gf and i are going for pedicures for Valentines Day

I would recommend going to a podiatrist or a foot nurse. Salon pedicures are expensive and probably not what you are needing.

thought that your foot issues were bad enough he would have told you to go to a podiatrist but he didn't, he told you to go for a pedicure so that's what you should do
