While I probably would not choose this issue as a battle to pick. In fact, I shake my head when many people seem to use my driveway as my block's unofficial turn around space. That being said, I have to support someone's right to assess their own feelings and pick their own values. To suggest that the OP should feel a certain way because you do, is a tad disrespectful. In fact, it could be seen as a little ironic that some are seemingly offended about what someone finds offensive. Just saying.  
 
As for the OP. I have no ideas but hope you can find a cordial way to solve this before resorting to using a boot. Either a mechanical one or your own lol.  
 
I also don't see how it would be illegal to boot someone's car on your property. Might be seen as severe overkill but can't see it breaking any laws.

I know it may be a pain in the butt to put more effort on your own part to try and stop this but maybe do something like the owners of The Clay Pot Cafe did to stop people cutting through their parking lot to get to GT or McDonalds. Those cement blocks/planters to block traffic. Obviously I am not suggesting you haul a cement block back and forth from your drive way every day a few times a day, but perhaps you have a suitable alternative and in time it could train the drivers not to use it or at least show them that it isn't something you want. Probably not the most esthetically pleasing suggestion, but just a suggestion.

Be glad you don't live where I live... I live near a few buildings that employ a lot of people and have had people park in my driveway for the entire day, I'm assuming while they're at work, blocking my car in my driveway.  
 
I've only had it happen 3 times on days I've been home in the 10 years I've lived there (all different vehicles) but let me tell you, I wasn't happy about that when it happened, especially when I had to go out for an appointment!  
 
I have no idea which building the people worked in to go talk to them, so my only option would have been calling to have it towed. I ended up just calling a friend for a ride, hoping to catch the person when they left to politely ask them not to park there again. I didn't end up seeing them leave as I wasn't going to watch out my window all day, but they haven't done it since.

As a kid growing up on the farm, we had some terrible problems with quadders and spotlighters ripping across our hayland, and it seemed like the no trespassing signs we put up were only used for target practice. The cops wouldn't, and couldn't really do anything.  
 
Finally dad just got so fed up, he forgot himself one day and accidentally left some old spike-style harrows laying upside down in the alfalfa where the spotlighters and quadders were doing a lot of the damage...  
 
then the damage stopped.  
 
So I kinda sympathize...

In the delivery driver’s defence, they might think the driveway belongs to the house they are delivering to. Our neighbours drive looks like it belongs to our house. Also, deliveries usually take a max of 3 minutes so I don’t think I would personally get upset about it but we all have our sore spots.

delivery drivers should get that confused, my yard is fenced and the next one isn't.  
 
Anywho still don't want people, whoever they are, to use my driveway. Plus next time some creeper is hopping the fence I am not going to tell him, feel free to use my property so you can save some steps by not going around the next house. SMH at some posters!

I find, that i situations like these, a pen and a piece of paper go a long way.

It’s like the universe heard me say that I don’t care if people park in the driveway....we just had a woman knock on the door and apologize for pulling into our driveway. Her vehicle run out of gas and she doesn’t have a cell so she asked my husband to call a taxi to go get some gas. Good thing we weren’t headed out haha

That is a much more refreshing attitude! I have way bigger things to worry about than someone stopping in my driveway to deliver pizza lol. Running out of gas and having to knock on a strangers door for help would be embarrassing for sure... thank goodness they landed in a kind persons drive.

A woman with some respect and manners to boot!

You could learn a lot from that person.

I am kind, respectful to strangers, I even answer the phone when I know it's the same person who has the number wrong! You have NO IDEA what type of person I am!! How dare you!  
 
All I want from people is for them to use their manners and common sense! There are far too many ignorant, rude and unkind people in this world! Where do you fit in? I know where I do!!
