Cancellation of Michael Jackson Tour show

I purchased tickets for a tour group show that has seen praising reviews again and again. This show was to take place in Brandon on Aug 2, 2019 and I've just been informed that it's been cancelled. I'm very upset about this as it's quite far going to Winnipeg to see great shows. I am wondering if the ticket sales were too low?

I'm a massive Michael Jackson fan and would have loved to go. However I knew nothing about it until now. I wonder how well it was advertised? How did you hear about it? Where was it going to be held at?

The tickets were too expensive and the fact that it was on a long weekend didn’t help either

$68 per ticket, I can see why it was likely cancelled due to low ticket sales. Especially considering the ticket prices for the Regina show are $32.

was advertising it, but I don't know about anywhere else. Same with Sharon and Bram. Unfortunate that the shows get canceled, but a sad reality these days.

It is the same weekend for Rockin the Fields in Minnedosa. Very bad timing.

Ad for this show in today's Brandon Sun. Including an entry to win tickets. No mention of it being cancelled.

On the website it has no tour dates for Manitoba.

I see the WMCA site now has the word “cancelled” over the event. Wondering if anyone who found out about a cancellation can share the message they received and what was shared re refunds?

Just added a post in the buzz section with a little more info. I see the Winnipeg show for the next night was cancelled too and for that show there's a statement citing poor sales and saying that they "endeavour to return to Manitoba at another time in the future." I have a message in to see if there's a separate statement specific to Brandon.
