We live in an older house in an older area of the city so we have lead problems in our water. I’m looking for information about lead in water, who can we contact regarding it and find out if something will ever be done to fix it.  
 
The pipes on our property have already been switched out so they do not contain lead. However, we were told the problem lies within the city pipes that connect to ours. The water tests still show high amounts of lead.  
 
We purchase jugs of water for drinking and cooking. But I’m wondering how safe is it in terms of bathing, washing dishes, or even laundry? We have a 10 month old now as well, how safe is it for baby?  
 
Who are we able to contact to discuss all of our questions? Is there a reliable online source of information we can read up as well?

There is zero risk in using the water for purposes other than consumption. You're absolutely fine using it to bathe, do laundry, etc.

Thank you for the replies. Regarding the refund, our concern isn’t getting access to drinking water from one tap. Our main concern is our infant drinking from the bath water. Is there a filter for the tub? We will try to reach out to the office (again).
