I am currently 14 and looking for a job, i don’t care very much where, can i get some help?

McDonald's on the North Hill.  
My daughter got a job there when she just turned 14 (not even in high school at the time), so she has been there for over a year. Absolutely loves it there. Great co-workers, fantastic management. Really excellent to work with your availability.  
Definitely would recommend you try McDonalds.

I second McDonald's. Both of my daughters work at the one on the north hill. One has been there about a year and a half and the other one just started in August.

Your best bet really is McDonalds.  
 
It is not the most glamorous job, but if you work there and stick it out you have "gold" on your resume. My daughter had been at McDonalds for nearly two years (starting at 14 years old) when we moved to BC.  
 
When she started applying at nicer restaurants out here, she got called for interviews at EVERY SINGLE ONE she applied for. She was offered two jobs sight unseen (because of McD's experience) and the position she ultimately took she interviewed for but was told basically it was because of her McD's experience she was called.  
 
When I used to hire in retail, anytime a kid came in with Mcd's experience they pretty much were a given for an interview. I had my staff looking for that on resumes that came through the door. No other place has as good a team building experience, nor training program.  
 
Plus, they give you your uniforms, all you have to buy are safety shoes.

My niece and nephew both currently work for McDonald’s at different locations in Brandon. One has been there for 3 years, one for 2 and I have only heard great things.  
 
They have a great training program, adhere to policies with minors, great communication for parents with HR. A really great thing for students is the availability they allow and if a student needs time off to study or extended time off they allow it happily.  
 
My daughter will be applying in a year when she can. Best thing to have on a resume.
