Either there is construction going on in the amounts needed like now or not. Easy to see when 90 percent of the trades are not there.
It is not the same as a Sunday near zear crew compared to weekdays @ full bore or just doing odds and ends.
Water damage or not it is the delay I was wondering about Not just repairing/ replacing water damaged framing Gyproc etc rocket science but requires skill. I am not expert on trades but know them enough that since the tear out by restoration of wet goods like drywall it has been slow but would have been started quickly after planning and the early removal of it..
Maybe slow on purpose upgrades needed for codes or other changes decided on in planning?.
Could be simple but I did not sense urgency from my angle. Yes I know just because there is no trucks outside or few does it mean work has stopped. Planning was done eons ago t hough. My best guess Is a delay in permits. No matter, I will be glad to see it used again and Management and staff and residents can go on to enjoy it. If I am the only one who thinks this was a slow rebuild fine. Just a whole lot of units out of use when housing is short.
Myself I am just glad it will open and not sit like so many projects in this country partially done or finished and facing more hurdles.
