    I woke up at 4:30 to use the washroom and the power was fine. 5:15 hubby woke me up when he exclaimed "power's out!" Anyone else waking up to dark and cold? (We're a block west of George Fitton for reference).

    Here's the direct link to the Hydro outages page for most up-to-date info.... right now I see its saying 960 customers effected with an estimated restoration time of 8:30am. I'll put in a message with their communication dept in case there's more to pass on:

    Pretty close to yesterday's news by now, but just for completeness' sake I gather via a MB Hydro rep that a downed line (most likely via tree) was the cause.
