Had to take a few recent posts out of this thread. The thread is setup for confirmed info only and am trying to keep it that way for ease of reading based on how many eyes have been on it. I received this information by email through PCOptimum and could not find a direct link not connected to my email. No specific times were stated aside from "early."

Two more coffee shops...
No link but have confirmed directly with local management.

Robins Donuts is in the process of closing their Brandon location (including drive through) until the 31st (thank you for the user tip on this one that I was able to confirm)

Forbidden Flavours on 18th will be closing down their dining area as of noon today (Tuesday) and will operate as drive thru only indefinitely.

Wheat City Medical Has TEMPORARY Access to Doctors via Phone

Yesterday, Doctors Manitoba had communicated new details on virtual care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the lead of other jurisdictions, provincial authorities confirmed important details on providing virtual care during the COVID-19 pandemic. New guidelines were issued that recommend the use of virtual care as part of the “protective self-separation” measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

This includes the use of telephone and video consultation for patients, including for care unrelated to coronavirus.

In order to comply with social distancing recommendations, Wheat City Medical will be offering virtual care starting today, March 17th, 2020. If you need to see a doctor but do not wish to expose yourself to the risk of unnecessary social interaction.

To book an appointment call 204-727-1711 now. Our medical team will set up a virtual appointment with you in which your Dr. will call you back. We hope this helps every individual receive the necessary medical care needed while remaining safe during this pandemic.

Does this mean they are not accepting regular appointments or continuing with already scheduled appointments ? Or they are just adding phone call appointments currently ?

A lot change in the local restaurant industry this week and today in particular. Including a listing of some below, with the caveat being that this is a very fluid situation. Where no link I have confirmed with management directly. Lots of inquiries out and will post further updates when I learn more from others.

-Boston Pizza (two locations)
Have reduced the number of tables by approx 30%. Dining room is open with hours changed to 11am - 10pm. Takeout and delivery remain available as well.

-Browns Socialhouse (UPDATED: 2:50PM)
Dining room will close after today (Tuesday), temporarily moving to takeout and delivery only starting Wednesday

Have informed me this afternoon that they are temporarily closing. That includes dine-in, takeout and delivery.

-Original Joe’s
Will be closing to dine-in after 10pm today (Tuesday). Will continue takeout as well delivery via Skip the Dishes until Sunday and then the whole restaurant will temporarily close.

-Smittys (two locations)
Both locations are as of now open for dine in. Have taken distancing measures with only half of tables open. takeout/delivery also options. Their hours are as follows, with close times subject to change:
Highway hours will be 7am-9pm
Mall location hours: 8am-8pm
Sportsline Lounge hours: 9am-11pm, Sunday 9am-9pm

We will still be accepting patients in the clinic. We do ask that if you have symptoms of COVID-19 that you do not come to the clinic though. If you have those symptoms you should call Health Link 204-788-8200

Some more restaurant updates current to the time of this posting, all confirmed with local management. Again a very fluid situation, will post further updates if any changes.

-Benny’s
continuing to offer table service in addition to takeout and delivery

-Browns Socialhouse
Including in this update since they've updated since my last post. Dining room will close after today (Tuesday), moving to takeout and delivery only starting Wednesday

-Chilli Chutney
dine-in, takeout, delivery all currently available

-East Side Mario’s
dine-in will close at end of day today (Tuesday). Takeout and delivery remain in-place

-Kims Asian Restaurant (both locations)
as of now open regular hours at both locations

-Mary Browns
dine-in available at 50% reduced seating capacity. Takeout and delivery via Skip are also available

-Montanas
fully open tonight (Tuesday) with alternating table use for social distancing. Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), they will temporarily be moving to takeout and delivery only between 12 and 8pm.

-Pizza Express
open for delivery and pickup for foreseeable future but dining room is closed:

Provincial update

Seven new presumptive positives in Manitoba just announced as per link below. If lab-confirmed would bring provincial total to 15. Of the seven new, five in Winnipeg and two in the Southern Health region. Public health investigations said to be underway with info on history of travel pending.

BU courses resume on Monday with no in-person delivery of classes, labs or other educational work for the remainder of the Winter 2020 term.

Public access is being limited to the campus, with the public being encouraged to connect by phone or email.

Contrary to some reports out there, Liquor Marts remain open normal hours with limits placed on amount of customers in the store at one time.
