Hey does anyone know if there re any courier's able to get down to Border Shipping Services at Dunseith? I had a parcel shipped there just before the border closed and am trying to figure out how to get it across the border. Thanks.

Perhaps Jay could set up "temporary shop" in Peace Garden. Wishful thinking.

Call the US border office and ask if they’d let you go and get it. There must be lots of people wanting to do the same and it’s helping to keep Border Shipping in business. The worst they can say is no.

I also have a couple of parcels at Border Services.  
I would gladly pay a trucking or courier company to  
bring them across the border  
Their are companies that provide that service  
Winnipeg - Pembina but I know of none here

I'm just assuming we are not allowed to go across now. It's shopping right?, and cross border shopping is not allowed now. Has anyone inquired?  
 
Normally if you bring stuff across for yourself it's a pretty easy process. If a business is bringing it across it's different. More complex forms have to be completed. Often a brokerage firm may be required. I'm not sure how the Winnipeg- south company does it but they obviously have it figured out. I tried to contact the company to see if they might be interested in setting up something here for us but they weren't interested.

I have the same situation. I ordered a few items a month before and they just arrived the morning the border closed. I emailed Jay about the issue and how long they would hold my packages but I didn't get a reply. I'm sure he is busy and I did stop ordering stuff that has to ship there but IDK what we are to do, hopefully the building isnt getting to full for them  
 
I thought about trying at the border but figured it would be a little rude so I stayed home

I wasn't going to call the border because I'm pretty sure they'd be not impressed with someone asking if they could run across for a couple of packages. I thought there may be a courier though.

I would wonder if couriers going across the US border would be considered an essential service..... hmm. And if you went yourself, you would have to isolate for 14 days. Not sure it would be worth it.

I just talked to an officer at the Dunseith Border Crossing (701) 263-4460 and was told that entering the US to pick up a parcel from Border Services would be considered to be a frivolous crossing and you would be turned back at the border and not be allowed to enter the US.
