Is it possible to see a dentist now?

I have an abscess tooth that is getting worse causing the side of my temple to pound with pain every night. Advil helps this out but it should be pulled. Are any dentists working in these Covid times?

The last I heard was dentists were only seeing patients in emergency situations.

I would try calling around, I would consider this an emergency situation

Hello ... I have heard Brandon Smiles Dentistry has doctors on call throughout the week. Call them at 204-728-3338. They see emergent cases only, I would think an abscess would qualify as an emergent case. Good luck

I tried to get in to a dentist two weeks ago but my case was not considered an emergency so I was told to call back once things are normal again. If you are having any pain you can get in- it is considered an emergency.

My wisdom teeth came through and became severely infected, I called and this wasn’t even considered an emergency. They faxed in a prescription to a pharmacy, but never saw me in person. Told me to call back for a referral to a dental surgeon when I wanted them removed and this all blew over.

Call the hospital they will put you in touch with one that cos an emergency!

Went to Dr. Kevin Vint at 383 - 18th str. had to be referred from my regular dentist. He is wonderful, very gentle. This was back in Nov.
I rinsed with salt water every 4hrs or baking soda ( and yes that was painful just doing that) so not to get an infection, since I had to wait a few days to get in. Infact Dr. Vint said that is why he was able to pull my toothe cuz their was not even swelling from rinsing. Salt heals.
I'm sure even mouthwash would help, better than nothing.
Take some care of ur tooth, so hopefully u don't have to go on antibiotics. Then mite take longer to get it pulled
