SuperheroAmongYou said "Anyone else concerned about the whole mask thing? I mean, it doesn't really help protect you too much against the virus, and it's so restrictive on a persons breathing. I see people driving in their cars by themselves wearing masks... how will that help? Nothing like constantly breathing in your own CO2 emissions am drastically limiting your oxygen intake to strengthen yourself and protect yourself against a RESPIRATORY virus.. (sarcasm). Never made much sense to me... but what do I know.... it's my thought and I could be wrong

If the mask is impairing your breathing, you've got the wrong mask.
It's not going to make you invincible - but it is a layer of protection for yourself and others (yeah, I know it's not "proven" to protect the wearer, but it reminds me to not touch my face.). You haven't seen the peeing on the pants meme? (see

As for the car, if I have multiple stops to make I'll just keep the mask on in the car. The greatest risk for infection is when you take the mask on or off, so I opt to keep it on if I'm only driving for a few minutes.
