does anyone know where you can buy a fishing licence in Brandon? thanks

Online or at 1129 queens at the conservation office

Easy to buy on line or most sporting goods store.

Local places, not sure how many are offering this. Pretty sure Home Hardware isn't doing licences. Best bet is purchase online. Print as many as you want.

On line or the Conservation office other then that No other place in Brandon. No sports stores,Walmart , Canadian tire.

Never need to worry about losing it. You can log back in and print out another if you lose it.

What if you do not have a printer? Why cannot the details be available to the warden via his government 'phone. So he can view and confirm details at the waterside.  
Hardly the right way to encourage people into the hobby/pastime of fishing.  
On that subject why do tackle shops not stock and sell barbless hooks as mandated for in the fishing regulations. Seems illogical to me to have to cut the barb off, weakening the hook, and inevitably leaving a spur.

Cause data connections will always be good in areas where people often fish. Normally it’s non existent, so they don’t do that.

As for barbless hooks. Many other provinces allow barbs. I grew up in sask and never had to pinch them. But instead of trying to cut the barn off. Use your needle nose plyers and just pinch the barb down against the hook.
