Update posted by the city today...

Rivers reservoir is still 2 feet above spillway. Though threaten is reduced it sounds like its Still there and so plug to remain in place at 18th and Grand Valley

(1/3) Heading into the weekend, we thought we’d provide an update on sustained high water levels in the Assiniboine River Valley upstream of #BdnMb. While the water level at the Rivers Reservoir is slowing receding, it still remains at flood stage, approx. 2ft above its spillway.

(2/3) While the highest threat of flash flooding in #BdnMb has now passed, the plug in the dike @ 18th St N & Grand Valley Rd & our pre-evacuation status for low-lying areas remain in place until further notice to ensure we can respond quickly to any unforeseen surge of water.
