Has anyone filled out the covid risk recognition application and heard back yet? I filled out the application but was wondering how the long process was

I keep checking as well and so far I haven't heard anything. When you go to the government site, more towards the bottom there is a link that says "how long until we receive payment," but its very vague. That we will get it once things have been approved. Who knows how long that would take... I thought it would happen sooner rather than later due to the fact that you had to fill out your banking information for direct deposit.

I’m not in a rush to get it, like you I assumed it would be quick due to them wanting the direst deposit info

It’s actually called Manitoba Risk Recognition program. For “essential” workers. It just closed June 29 so it will probably take time because they will actually look into who is qualified beforehand unlike CERB.
