use mine actifryer for wings of course, fries, tatertots, smokies, cut up chicken pieces, home fries and wedges. Doesn't work well with soft meat such as fish. Takes up space as it is a large appliance. Before you spend the money on one may I suggest borrowing from a friend or even buying one online at buy and sell sites or thrift store perhaps. Like some said it is easy to clean except I find the paddle is the worst to clean unless you soak it for half hour and need a brush to get into the grooves underneath it. i bought mine on Amazon and I use it fairly regularly as Im not a fan of greasy deep fried foods like you find in restaurants. I don't even use oil in mine I just use the spray canola oil like Pam . Hope that helps
