Had the chicken sandwich a few days ago. Thought it might be a lot of hype. Nope. It was very good. Not as good as Nashville hot chicken , but.....who cares....if its here. Hope you are right.

Tried this summer in Winnipeg. They only have spicy and mild so tried the mild on a drum hard to choke down still to hot. Even ordered the shrimp sandwich after seeing the chicken had spice, only to find out had to choke down the shrimp sandwich even with pop it had spice too . Dont understand why they would not have regular/no spice as a choice pretty limiting on customer base

They've been quite aggressively building out locations in Manitoba of late including Portage last year.
From as good a source for Popeyes as there is in Manitoba, they have been searching for the right location. Nothing is imminent at the moment and no timeline is set without a location selection but don’t be surprised if you do see an announce one day that they’re coming to Brandon.

Lol. This is the norm... lots of people love it and lots of people hate it. I am actually shocked that people find the pepper on their french fries to be spicey..

But Popeyes is needed in Brandon. I know of where one location has a strong possibilty.. but cannot say where.

I've tried their chicken multiple times in Saskatoon and Winnipeg and honestly it's not that good. I like a serious crunch on chicken, it looks like it has a serious crunch but it's never *crunchy*. Their strips are always undercooked, their fries are pretty much the frozen spicy fries you can get at the store. The biscuit is decent though, definitely better side than a slice of buttered bread at KFC.

Mary Browns is the best in the game, always fresh and nicely seasoned
