I watched a real good documentary last night called the social dilemma. It’s worth a watch. Check it out.

Watched the film last night and enjoyed it. Had some very interesting interviews from former top employees that produced the majority of the social media formats. It just confirms every ones suspicion of the algorithms used to gather data, the potential abuse and the possible influences of conscious/subconscious control with those who use them as their only source of communication and information. The problem I find with this documentary is that the people who should really be needing to watch this, will not or can not. This is one of these films that will probably never make it far on YouTube or suggested/ linked on Facebook because the algorithms will either deny, delete or cycle them down/out having been labelled as "unpopular". It will be amusing to witness on how quick the "naysayers" will jump all over this doc movie. ...It'll get torn to pieces before this day is done on social media. No $h!+, right? (LOL)  
 
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I watched this a week ago. Actually find it scary that the people by Ernest and algorithms could be contributing to the divisiveness in the world. More people need to be aware of this problem and use care when using the internet to search for information.

I found it scary as hell. Unfortunately, their efforts to make it more dramatic took away from the frightening reality. That is my opinion anyway.

Said it won’t happen until people take a stand.  
Already I’ve read the idea of regulations for the internet coming from our liberal government and people are against it calling Trudeau a dictator. I wonder what everyone’s thought are on internet regulations and who should be responsible for it?

I think regulating data collection would be a good thing, especially in the future as tech gains direct access to peoples brains, imagine how easy it would be to control people when you can literally data mine their mind =/
