With today's provincial update released, the PMH reported case count increased by 424 on the month of January. This compares to 530 in December and 422 in November.
Brandon's reported case count increased by 110 on the month. This compares to 258 in December and 176 in November.
Still a long way to go, still a virus that has been very present in the province and community and still every bit as dangerous of a virus... but I imagine safe to say that the holidays didn't lead to the spike in cases that it had the potential to thanks in large part to measures that were in place. Just in reading comments, there were definitely cases of non-compliance... but thank you to everyone who adjusted as required in order to avoid having this virus do to this community what it's demonstrated it's capable of.
