Are the patios in Brandon going to open.

They are not open on Monday.

They only thing that changed in the public health orders as of 12:01 tonight, is you may have 5 extra people outside on your property from 2 separate households. And can gather in a public place in a group of 5.

The 5 people does not apply to campsites. That is still household only

the info today said campsites are like private residence and can have up to 5 in addition to registered campers but still only from 2 different households .

1(8) Persons must not occupy a campsite, cottage or vacation home together unless they normally reside at the same private residence.

Our campground called and confirmed this is the case and we are not allowed to visit unless we go to the public areas

Campground sites are considered private property (Rc123 see bottom page 21 on your link)  
So they are allowed up to 5 people gatherings “outdoors “ only.  
Same rules as your own backyard.  
No gatherings “ inside” homes or RVs or campers is still in place.

Our campground told us that each site is a private residence and the rule applies, we can have 5 visitors from 2 different households. My inlaws have a cabin up at clear lake and they also were allowed to follow this rule. Many took advantage of it and it was great to see families visiting again  
 
It was a great weekend and our first family get together since thanksgiving!! I can kinda see the light at the end of the tunnel  
 
Now, we just need to allow hair dressers, nail salons and tattoo shops to open!! My heart goes out to all of them who cannot work and are struggling to pay their bills

Exactly. That's what I took from the presser and certainly seems correct.

I pushed the issue a bit with management as I was sure they were told wrong information. Our campground did end up calling around to other campgrounds who were allowing visitors and did change the rules. The government definitely dropped the ball on this one as they had contacted public health and were told no.  
 
It was fantastic to visit with other campground friends
