So in reading the article in the Brandon Sun from the link above “One man, who declined to give his name, said he didn’t agree with the mandate as alcohol also affects people’s health and can kill.” Since when has alcohol been contagious? This is the mentality of some of these people, they obviously don’t fully understand how contagious this virus is and how mutations will just get stronger.

Looks like a good-sized turnout taking in the midway event at the Keystone tonight (vax required for anyone 12 or over in order to get in). Much smaller group of maybe two or three dozen of presumably some of the same folk mentioned earlier in the thread with signs et all walking the path along 18th and sometimes blocking the Keystone entrance in the process... I guess getting a first-hand look at what public health has determined they will be missing so long as they're at odds with expert, informed public health requirements and advice on the topic?

A business is allowed to not allow people in if they don’t have a shirt or shoes on. This is no different. A business has the same right to make rules to attend their establishment. And this is what most people don’t understand. Sure, if you choose to get or to not get vaccinated then you will have to deal with it.

It was very nice of them to block the entrance into the midway last night although only temporary. The best part was when a few of the special, well educated upstanding folks yelled some nice words at a couple attempting to walk around them with masks on. Sure looked like that same lovely crew from over by the hospital. I guess being unvaxxed and everything else limits ones ability to do something constructive with their time. Can't wait to see where they will pop up next!

I am so tired of these anti-vaxers. If you don’t want the shot, don’t get it. Why do they have to be in everyone’s face about it. I am having Covid burn out from all Karen’s, protesters and stories of all these selfish people. Have we as human beings all forgotten how to do for the greater good of the people? What gives them the right to be rude and scream at people. I’m sad that they are presenting themselves to speak for nurses when nurses everyday are working so hard through this pandemic. What a slap in the face!

Going back to about 2016 and any topic that seems to have gotten lost in the political divisions that some see the world through, seem to more often see this two “sides” angle when trying to disarm facts and dig out a factually shaky counter-position that’s opposite those facts. If one is acting counter to qualified, medically educated, expert public health advice they should not be surprised if they are the outlier.

One by one the anti vaxers will disappear. Covid will take care of that. Thy had their chance so just let them deal with the pandemic head on . Eventually the herd will be thinned.

I have seen a lot of unvaccinated people complaining they can’t go to a restaurant now, but in all fairness they have more options than a vaccinated person: 1: You can stay home and order in. 2: You can order and do curbside pickup and either go home or have a nice picnic (actually 2 options lol). 3: You can get vaccinated. 4: You can continue to be miserable and complain
