BELLMTS email SCAM BEWARE

An email is circulating from Bellmts stating your payment could not be processed and has a link to log on to to confirm or change your automatic payments.
Name appears as BELLMTS SUPPORT
Looks very legit but look closer says “ibellmts.ca”

Just spoke with BellMts they are aware of the email.

Knew it was scam I never pay automatic payments to anyone except mortgage , just me but I always want to check my statements before anyone gets my hard earned money.

There is a similar email scan for Xplornet, which also says error/difficulty processing payment.

Bell MTS scam

I got an e-mail and looks very legit. I happened to have had problems with paying my bill by credit card, so it all fell into line with my problem too. Anyway, I opened the attachment they sent, to complete a payment form and they were asking for my SIN number - red flag right there (thankfully) cuz I think I may have filled it out otherwise - yikes!!!
