That’s absolutely pathetic on the parents part! I wish I could say what I really want to say after reading this.. these parents would be the same ones saying things when the province has to shutdown kids activities again! Time for the unvaccinated to wake up and just quit!

I’m so glad to see you taking a firm stance on this. There should be no second chances for people choosing to purposefully break the laws regarding vaccination requirements for facility entrance. Perhaps having a child banned from participation for the remainder of the season will help the message get through.  
These people are putting the health of the other fans at risk, they are putting the rest of the team members ability to continue to play at risk, and they are setting a very poor example for their children by teaching them to lie, cheat, and break the law.  
It’s sad that things have come to this, but I applaud your determination to stop this before the season is shut down for everyone. Hopefully other Hockey Manitoba groups follow your lead.

Given the science that is coming out on omicron, not so much on the severity of the the variant, but on the transmission of the disease, and it ability to circumvent vaccines, it might be best for everyone to think about standing down, or adjusting your lifestyle to reduce social contact.  
If you are double vaxxed and have your booster, and get omicron, you may not have to worry about serious illness or death, but set a situation where another variant can be created. Whether the next variant moves up or down in severity, it will be one that possibly has the chance of being immune to vaccines.  
It doesn’t matter what sort of life form something is, evolution occurs to achieve continuance, and in viruses it happens on a very rapid pace.

Sounds like Brandon isn't the only minor hockey association having to step up again this.

Not a comment specific to Brandon, but Winnipeg's Mayor Bowman made a strong statement in response to a story on the same problem in Winnipeg:  

Sneaking into facilities that require proof of vaccination is unconscionable. Everyone needs to do their part. Start by getting vaccinated. And follow the rules intended to keep everyone - including children - as safe a possible. https://t.co/QjWaL07R1Y
