I just wanted to throw this out on ebrandon, since it seems there are lots of people out there informed of whats happeniong in Brandon.  
 
About two minutes ago I was surprised to see Lights flashing on the 600 block of 11th Street where there are emergency vehicles (truck and paramedics) in front of one of the residences. Immediately, I thought of a fire or possibly someone who needed mediacl attention, but to our avail (neighbors and I), there seems to be some filming taking place by one of the private security contractors in Brandon wearing full "swat" gear and having the fire dept. and emergency services playing a role?  
 
Now, I have seen this security company filming over the previous months in the neighboring area for what seemed like a commercial. Does anyone know if there is a movie being filmed?  
 
By the way, when the fire dept. was asked (by the neighbor) as to what was happening...he was told, this was a "practice run". Is this also common? to have your practice runs filmed by private security companies in full (but phoney) swat gear...or has the City of Brandon hired private contractors to police? Since duribng this so called "practice run" there was no police (actual BPS) involved?  
 
Anyways, take it for what you want, but I can remember the uproar citizens had when emergency vehicles were used to celebrate a fellow workers BBQ leaving for Afghanistan and I thought I would just throw this out there.  
 
Most of the people on our block and I'm sure the traffic that stopped to watch were looking for an actual emergency and were either concerned or interested in what was happening.
