I have always been of the mind that remembrance day should be all or nothing. You are either closed, or you are open. Its always been eye-opening that stores used to stay closed for almost every other religious occasion, yet only half the day on what is supposed to be the most sacrosanct day of the year.
In truth though, none of what makes Remembrance Day important has anything to do with shopping, or stores being open or closed.
