Just saw a number of vehicle all decked out in yellow blue and red parading down Braecrest. Wonder what the celebration is about.

Was it white blue and red French flags? I just saw them roll down Portage avenue and Winnipeg, it was bunch of cry babies parading for freedom and stuff like that. Free Tamara Lich, hold the line, freedom 2022, etc.

Think there was something coming up with convoy types doing convoy type things. Can’t recall specifics, but assume more trying to come across as representative of bigger share of the population than they are, etc etc. As long as not disrupting traffic on a messy 18th St and any flags/messaging are child-friendly, respect the right to protest.

I saw it going down 18th St N and I thought I saw Mexican flags - but not sure I don't remember my flags very well. I'm pretty sure it was celebration parade and not a convoy.

That makes a lot of sense… The actual day (Columbian Independance Day) looks like it was on Wednesday and yellow/blue/red are Columbia's flag colours. These folks are an awesome part of the diversity that makes up this community and know how to throw a great family-friendly party... quite the gathering a few years ago at Rideau Park when I was there!

Colombian independence day. I was passing Rideau park and saw their balloons and heard the music. Stopped by and join them for a while. They had nice celebration with music, dance, food truck etc.

This might be a topic for another thread as this one is about the parade, but how exactly is Mr. Trudeau going to take our freedom away??? Is he going to wake up one morning and declare Canada a Communist State and we are all going to do hard labor?
