I think it is because this bill you pay your normal price plus any difference.
Our equal billing is $210, and the difference was approx $76, so lets say $290 but our bill is $340+. When I read it, its because the new equal billing starts this month and for last month they charged us normally for the electricity last month (which was hit many days and we had both our ACs running 24/7 for many days) so we used $240 some in electricity.
I just believe its the way their equal billing cycle ends abd begins (we also got noticed part way through the year that our EPP plan was going up and this bill states its going up as well).
