From the Brandon Sun tweet below, both Crocus Plains and Maryland Park schools appear to be on lockdown at the moment due to an incident in the immediate area requiring Police presence. I hope for all affected that everything is resolved safely as soon as possible:

"UPDATE on events in the area of 1st street and Maryland Ave, November 1, 2022:  
 
We will have more information on two separate incidents, which occurred in the area of 1st street and Maryland as those investigations unfold. One situation involves a vehicle stop at that location at approximately 8:45 am, and the second incident involves a report of individuals with firearms in the same area at approximately 9:53 am. Suspects have been arrested in both incidents, which are unrelated. Both matters are still under investigation."
