Carbon Tax Cheques

The Manitoba government is cutting $225 and $375 cheques as part of a new affordability package billed as a carbon tax relief fund, intended to help people make ends meet in a time of high food and fuel costs. This is the extra one that Stephenson is doing that was supposed to be out by the end of January.

The cheques were being sent out the end of January (so the blurb said) but could take up to 6 weeks to receive,

It says the cheques will START being sent by February (changed from end of January), and will take up to 6 weeks to send them all out. If you haven’t received yours by March 31st, then you can notify them. So I’m guessing another couple weeks till we start seeing any of them.
